Freshly confirmed: The Xatar documentary series is coming. According to NDR, the series will consist of three parts and will be published in the ARD media library in spring 2026.

The documentary series was created in collaboration with SWR, WDR and HR and was produced by “Film Five”, a Berlin company. Wife is involved in production
Filming of the production took place while Xatar was still alive, NDR said. The ARD series follows his wife, Farvah Hajabi, in her desire to “bring order to the business and musical legacy and to continue her husband’s life’s work.” In the series, Hajabi wants to “show how much passion, vision and humanity there is in Giwar,” the NDR statement continues.
