Jake La Furia’s groupAmanda’s orphan, thought for Tomasi a great piece from Oasis. Delia gave the Sicilian stamp to Fabrizio De André. X Factor 2025 Live 3, November 6: competitor report cards, songs, first round votes
Tomasi, vote 7
For his birthday, the newly seventeen year old Tomasi has chosen the symbol of Brit Pop of 1996 with Don’t look back in anger of Oasis. He sang it appropriately, wearing the typical Pac Jac windbreaker like Noel Gallagher.
His performance sparked the first controversies between Francesco Gabbani and Jake La Furia regarding the contestant’s way of playing the guitar. Jake blurted out vehemently: “you criticize what you’re comfortable criticizing, what the fuck does it mean that he doesn’t have standing.”
EroCaddeo, vote 6
Another melancholic piece and suffering For the Cagliaritan EroCaddeo: Lonely men, a Sanremo hit by Pooh from 1990. Very interesting voice but nothing to do: the emotional part has taken a holiday. Paola Iezzi felt it was too far from her stylecaged in a genre that is perhaps not its own. Jake was impressed by the look: «you seem like a mix between Lauro, Dodi Battaglia and a South American narco».
Mayu, vote 6
Mentor Iezzithis evening in the blonde Marilyn version, he chose for Mayu One of U2, one of the symbols of the nineties. Despite having a splendid voice and Kate Moss-style make-up, the young competitor got lost between warbling and shyness. For Achille Lauro it has not yet been understood who he really is, what his tastes are. For Gabbani it was wonderful: “you’re like Bona Vox”. Unfortunately, it ended up in the runoff. The song for the challenge was Cheyenne by Francesca Michielin.

X Factor 2025 Live 3: PierC, rating 8
With I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing, the “PierC-Geddon” is perfectly successful. Aerosmith’s rock ballad it reconfirmed what was already in the air: it’s him, the only true XFactor. Jake La Furia, sincerely admired: «it was like hearing the Compact Disc, there’s no fucking taste either».
Rob, rating 8
Just turned 20, Rob took the stage with What’s going on?. He gave an accelerated rock to the ballad of the 4 non blondes, unleashing the audience. Good, really good.
Michelle, competitor on “X Factor 2025” (VBettoja/Sky)
X Factor 2025 Live 3second round votes: Mayu and Layana on the ballot
Michelle, vote 7
Mentor Gabbani has chosen for electropop Michelle the catchy Come back Of Natalie Imbruglia. A song that the competitor manages to make her own, using her excellent tone. For Paola and Jake it was great but the 90s are full of electronic music: why not a dance classic? Achille Lauro also shares the same opinion, who strongly believes in his identity and would not like to see it different.
Layana, rating 5/6
Lauro has chosen for Layana the rock ballad of Gianna Nannini, Wonderful creature. She she sang it with a lot of feeling but without Nannini’s aggressive and vital energy. Unfortunately, it did not convince Iezzi, Gabbani and Jake. Perhaps the judges have finally received a critical voice regarding their excessive do-goodism because there was no shortage of sparks. Layana she ended up in a runoff against Mayu, choosing The Greatest by Billie Eilish.

Viscardi, rating 6/7
After singing Prince, Viscardi took possession of Michael Jackson and the super nineties Black or White. For Lauro, the previous performance of Purple Rain it was much more up his alley. The judges mocked Gabbani, That it turned out to be a little too touchy.
Tellydon’tcry, rating 6/7
During the week, Tellynoncringe had asked Gabbani to be able to bring on stage Something big by Lùnapop. Although not convinced, his mentor supported him. The result has been good on and off. Static in performance, imprecise and subdued, it wasn’t his night.
Delia, rating 8
Choosing between songwriting and folk music, Delia sang on the piano Dolcenera by Fabrizio De André. Always on the piano and always spirited but, this time, far from the comfort zone of the Sicilian dialect. Jake La Furia is proud like a father, the 3 judges are moved. Very, very good.
