World stars are bleeding – Cruel accidents: “I lost my way”

The dramatic falls of Dutch running stars Sifan Hassan and Femke Bol color the evening events of the opening day of the World Championships in Hungary.

Holland lost two medals with 100 percent certainty, maybe even two gold medals, when the country’s star runners Sifan Hassan and Femke Bol fell down.

– Hassan’s pick scratched the mondo. It was not a unique case, said the Iltalahti expert who followed the race in Budapest Arto Bryggare.

Hassan bled after the 10,000m race when the woman’s right hand took a hit. The Dutchman led the race until the last meters until he tripped and eventually fell out of the medals.

– Hassan had an excellent tactic and pace distribution, but in the end he went to his own devices. Hassan took off from the first track on the outside, when he thought that in order to overtake his racing sister, he would have to pass a bigger outside season. Hassan spun his head in vain during the last tens of meters. He could have focused only on his own run, Bryggare scolds.

Ethiopia rushed to first place Gudaf Tsegay (31.27,18). Also silver (Letesenbet Gidey) and bronze (Ejgayehu Taye) went to East Africa.

– These are all aimed at vitos. This was vitone plus a few laps. It was quite late that the machines started to play, but when they did, the end came so damn hard.

The cap dropped

Femke Bol fell down on the finish line of the kapula medley relay. PDO

Bol was also in blood on Saturday in Budapest. He fell just a few meters before the finish in the 4×400 meter medley relay. Holland were disqualified because Bol dropped the baton.

– No significant contact with the Yankees. Bol collapsed himself. This is a simple matter, Bryggare announced.

Based on TV pictures, USA anchor Alexis Holmes was able to take a very small hit to Bol’s right thigh before the tulip land lady went upside down.

US Quartet Justin Robinson, Rosey Effiong, Matthew Boling and Holmes set a new ME of 3:08.80. Great Britain got silver and the Czech Republic surprisingly got bronze.

Weird Richardson

Camilla Richardson pulled the ten-ton race for several rounds. This was a rather strange solution.

– In the beginning, we walked. Camilla thought walking pace could not be maintained. But it’s horrible when in this weather the speed increases and the heat rises in the body, says Bryggare.

The Finnish runner finished 15/22 with a time of 32:15.74. The result was more than a minute behind Richardsson’s May Finnish record (31.12.78).

– He is obviously in great shape. Maybe the ranking would have improved if he had waited. Now the bangs went as he drew the crowd.

Crazy Crouser

Ryan Crouser won the WC gold. PDO

Suffered from a blood clot Ryan Crouser there were no health problems at all. The man won shot put gold with a new World Cup record of 23.51 meters.

– A really huge race, even though it was stupid when the qualifying was on the same day. Crouser had a half-wool push to pull the edge in qualifying. In the final, he showed that the health problem does not weigh much.

The surprise of the race had taken silver Leonardo Fabbri (23,34). The Italian, who bagged the first medal in his career for adults, improved his own record by 35 cents and half a meter from his previous best result of the season.

– Spinning technology explains the improvement in results. When you get it to play, the legs work well and the hand is in order, there will be a lot more dimension.

The bronze in the shot put was won by a Hungarian from the USA Joe Kovacs (22,12).
