Italy has to go in June

After the dramatic move into the final four tournament of the Nations League against Italy, the path to the 2026 World Championship for national coach Julian Nagelsmann. The World Cup qualification for the DFB-Elf begins as hoped only in September this year.
In group A, Slovakia, Northern Ireland and Luxembourg are waiting for the national team. All six games are held between September 4 and November 17. The group winner solves the direct ticket to the tournament in the USA, Canada and Mexico (Juni 11 July 2026). The group of group must be in the playoff round in March 2026.
In contrast, Italy slips through the defeat in the quarter -finals of the Nations League against Germany in Group I. There, four opponents and the first games were and are already being held in the current international break with Norway, Israel, Estonia and Moldova. For the Squadra Azzurra, it starts between the Champions League final and the club World Cup in early June when the DFB team contests the final Four of the Nations League.
