Fifa has set the dates of the recoveries that will assign the last place available to Europe for Qatar. The match between the Scots and the Ukrainians was supposed to take place in Glasgow on March 24 but was postponed after the Russian invasion

Fifa has set the dates for the European qualifying play-offs for the World Cup in Qatar involving Ukraine. Scotland-Ukraine will be played on 1 June and the winners will face Wales on 5 June in the final for the remaining European place in the event scheduled for the end of the year.

Fifa wanted to thank “all the parties involved for the strong spirit of solidarity and cooperation that led to this unanimous decision, with the adjustment of the Nations League calendar thanks to the collaboration of UEFA”. The match between the Scots and the Ukrainians was supposed to have taken place on 24 March at Hampden Park in Glasgow but had been postponed due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
