Yet there is still nuisance on traffic. From 11 April to the end of May 2025 it is still not possible to take the Bissegem exit from the R8, coming from Kortrijk-Noord. Drivers are diverted via the Marke entrance and exit.
In addition, through traffic on the inner ring of the R8 continues to drive over narrowed lanes, with a speed limit. The works are already working on August 2022 and should be ready this fall.
