Traffic on the A27 between the Hooipolder and Avelingen junctions must take work on the Merwedebrug nine to eight hours from Friday evening until Saturday morning. The bridge towards Utrecht is then completely closed.
Traffic from the south towards Gorinchem and Utrecht is then diverted via the A59 and A2 or A16 motorways.
Both directions
Work will also take place on the Merwedebrug from Monday evening ten hours to Tuesday morning. Then the bridge is closed in both directions. Both direction Utrecht and towards Breda.
The Avelingen, Werkendam (23), Nieuwendijk (22) and Hank (21) are accessible from the A59. The through car and freight traffic is diverted via the A2 and A16.
Test work
