“Women’s rights are sacrificed in the name of religion”: burkini ban in Diest provincial domain reversed, N-VA reacts dissatisfied

N-VA is not satisfied with the advice of the Disputes Chamber of the Flemish Human Rights Institute regarding swimming clothing in the Halve Maan provincial domain in Diest. Minister Zuhal Demir (N-VA) states that the Human Rights Institute “sacrifices women’s and children’s rights in the name of a faith”, Flemish MP Nadia Sminate calls it “an incomprehensible and regrettable” judgment.
