US-backed Kurdish fighters have agreed to a ceasefire with Turkish-backed Syrian rebels in Manbij, a until recently Kurdish-controlled city in northern Syria. The agreement was reached through American mediation, reports commander Mazloum Abdi of the Kurdish fighters, who call themselves the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).
