A robbery took place at a house on the Wielewaal Estate on the Oirschotsedijk in Eindhoven on Wednesday evening. A woman was threatened and slightly injured. The suspect fled.
The suspect is said to have entered the estate, which was once owned by the Philips family, around eight o’clock. There are several houses on the estate. The woman was outside at the time and was surprised by the suspect, a police spokesperson said on Wednesday evening. The woman and the suspect then allegedly went inside, where the woman was slightly injured, according to the spokesperson.
The man then fled on foot in an unknown direction, police said. A Burgernet report was sent stating that the man was wearing black trousers and a black jacket with a hood with a red trim at the top. The man also wore a black mask or cover over his mouth.
It is not known whether anything was stolen. Much is still unclear, according to the spokesperson.
