Stephanie Carlquist brought different destruction to the car of her ex-partner in an outburst of anger, according to court documents. The man claims that after a fight she cut his tire with a knife. Two weeks later she went even further. Carlquist poured salt into the engine and glitter in the ventilation. She broke the rear -view mirror and hit the radio screen and the windshield to horror elements.

According to the garage where the car was brought, it was more than 10,000 euros in damage. The car was declared a total loss.
The American seems to find it all pretty funny. On her arrest photo she shows a broad smile. The pregnant woman stated to the police that she was ‘stressed’ when she destroyed the car.
Criminal record
Her father can laugh less about it. He tried to prevent his daughter from getting a crime on her criminal record. The file shows that he contacted Stephanie’s ex to find a “better solution than a complaint against Stephanie, so that no one is hurt.”
Stephanie herself contacted her ex-partner’s mother. She was co-owner of the destroyed car. In an email she admitted that she put salt and glitter in the car and destroyed the windshield. “Oh, and the band,” she wrote. “But the engine and oil were not well maintained.” Carlquist also suggested paying the repairs and offered her own car to her ex.
Stephanie is at home on bail and awaits her lawsuit.
