Wolford ends 2023 with a slight increase in sales

Wolford AG closed the 2022 financial year with a slight increase in sales.

According to the available, as yet unaudited figures, the Austrian clothing supplier’s sales amounted to 126.9 million euros. This means that revenues have increased by around one percent compared to the previous year, the company, which belongs to the fashion group Lanvin Group, announced in an ad hoc announcement on Tuesday.

Wolford achieved a particularly large increase in sales in the direct-to-consumer business of 32 percent in the Asia-Pacific region. North America, on the other hand, recorded growth of two percent on a constant exchange rate basis. However, the company admitted that North America saw a slight decline considering the current exchange rate, while the EMEA region also saw a minor decline in sales due to macroeconomic headwinds.

Wholesale sales recorded an increase of twelve percent. According to the company, this increase is the result of product alignment under the leadership of artistic director Nao Takekoshi and the acquisition of new wholesale customers.

The annual report of the Lanvin Group, which, in addition to Wolford, also includes brands such as Lanvin, Sergio Rossi, St. John and Caruso, is expected tomorrow.
