HCAW is going to do this season with a mix of young and experienced players. Henson primarily puts the team’s interests first. Henson: “I don’t like superstars. We all have to do it together. If you are a real superstar, then you pull the other guys with you. Then I don’t have to tell you that you are a superstar.”
Opening weekend
The first two games of the opening weekend were convincingly won by HCAW. Propertymate Hoofddorp Pioniers was already beaten 11-1 on Thursday and on Saturday HCAW was 9-3 too strong. On Sunday, both teams will play against each other again in Hoofddorp.
