Anni Kärävä25, won the freestyle skiing big air competition in Beijing. It was the Finn’s first race win in the World Cup.
Kärävä collected 175.50 points. China came second in the race Liu Mengting (172.25 points) and Canada’s third Naomi Urness (171.50).
Kärävä already won bronze in big air at the Engadi World Championships earlier this year. In addition, he came third in the hill race and slopestyle at the X Games in January.
Kärävä is one of Finland’s medal hopes at next winter’s Olympics, which will be held in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy, from February 6, 2026 to February 22, 2026.
