Willem-Alexander celebrates ten years of kingship with a festive lunch (and you can determine the guest list)

King Willem-Alexander will celebrate ten years as king with a festive lunch for a hundred guests at Paleis Huis ten Bosch on Wednesday 26 April. With lunch, the royal couple would like to thank people who have committed themselves to their environment.

“Over the past ten years I have met a lot of people who are fantastically committed to others, to the neighborhood or the general interest. I would like to thank those people for their commitment to the Netherlands,” says Willem-Alexander in a video on social media. The so-called 10 Times is intended for “people who earn a ten because of their commitment to others”.

In the video, the king calls on others to nominate people for the special lunch. “We look forward to receiving a hundred special guests here in the Oranjezaal of Huis ten Bosch on April 26. I look forward to all the inspiring stories.”

People can nominate someone through the website until 20 February www.10maal.nl. Based on the motivations submitted, a choice will be made from the entries. The hundred invitees will be notified at the latest at the beginning of April.
