The stars of Shownieuws no longer have to count on the arrival of Willeke Alberti, the ex of their boss John de Mol. The 80-year-old singer no longer feels like talking to their desk about ditjes and datjes from the showbiz. And she informed them in front of all the viewers of the show section …

Invitation

Willeke has been out of circulation for a while because of the death of her daughter, but now she makes her musical comeback. She is singing again and on the occasion of that she gave a telephone interview live Shownieuws. During that interview of about ten minutes, we will not see her. And that remains the case …

If presenter Dyantha Brooks invites her to come by, Willeke Klip is ready. “We thought it was incredibly pleasant and Willeke, maybe – I know it is late – you just have to come to the table after the Zwarte Cross,” said the presenter.

‘Not in the mood’

Willeke then says very honestly that she doesn’t feel like it. Remarkable, because normally you always get stuck in polite features after such an invitation. “Yes, but I don’t like to sit at a table.”

The rejected Dyantha uncomfortable: “Okay, then we just call again.”

Colleague Bart Ettekoven is still trying: “With us though.”

And Bram Moszkowicz: “It’s fun.”

Rather on stage

Willeke is adamant. “I prefer to be on the stage and in healthcare and make people happy. Yes, I always find it difficult to talk about things that you are talking about. I am now comfortable in my bed and I am watching a nice television.”

Dyantha: “Well, we’ll just call again after the Zwarte Cross.”

Finally, the ruthless Willeke: “But I always like it and I also like those people who are now there.”
