During her performance as presenter of the Televizier gala, Chantal Janzen strongly criticized the men of Today Inside. Will they take revenge? “Sexist joke!”

Things are becoming increasingly sharp in the media world: while fun entertainment and no-nonsense shows are disappearing, people are opting en masse for the razor-sharp opinion in programs such as De Oranjezomer and Today Inside. Presenters like Wendy van Dijk are out, feisty media experts like Jack van Gelder and Johan Derksen are in.

‘Thank you Peter!’

Chantal Janzen was happy that she had the opportunity to present the Golden Televizier-Ring Gala last night. She provided a musical intermezzo (see below), in which she jokingly asked herself how she remains popular in this media world, and how a flop can quickly destroy you.

“And then suddenly you get a new show again! Thank you, Peter! But even before it starts, you read what Tina Nijkamp thinks, but you straighten your back and say: ‘It’s going really well, Aran, thank you!'”

‘How do you stay popular?’

The first people like Jeroen Rietbergen, Linda de Mol’s sweetheart, are the ones to be punished. “Popular, how do you stay popular?” Chantal sings. “Keep your image clean, your mind healthy, don’t send a picture of your dick around. Don’t go on a First Date like Andrew Tate, have respect for every woman! Otherwise we will crack your nuts and turn them completely blue!”

Chantal also attacks colleagues such as Albert Verlinde and Wierd Duk, who spoke out in an unpopular manner about the suffering in Gaza. “What else is popular? You can run around the talk shows, tease viewers with your opinion and deny world suffering with a dry eye.”

VI’s turn

And then it’s also the turn of Today Inside, which won the Televizier-Ring later in the evening. “Or amuse VI by laughing along with the gentlemen. Sexist joke more or less! Oh, it really doesn’t matter!”

Chantal makes a sexual movement. “Because that scores! That’s what it’s all about! Popular! So not politically correct, but well-spoken! Do you think their level is a bit low? Well, people, put a camera on The Hague!”

The big question is: how do the men of VI respond to this?
