Why things can happen so quickly with new signing Bryan Zaragoza

FC Bayern may react again to Kingsley Coman’s loss and prefer a transfer. The Munich team has a clear advantage.

Bryan Zaragoza was actually only supposed to join FC Bayern in the summer. But the winger, who signed in Munich at the beginning of December, could start playing for the German record champions in the winter. The reason for this lies in the failures on offense. Serge Gnabry has been out injured since the beginning of December and will also miss around three weeks. Kingsley Coman had to be substituted at the weekend and will reportedly be out for eight to ten weeks.

The staffing level on the offensive wing currently consists of two players: Leroy Sané and Mathys Tel. Frans Krätzig or Alphonso Davies could also help out, but that is apparently too risky for Bayern. Sports director Christoph Freund confirmed on Tuesday that they want to bring Zaragoza in earlier: “We are in discussions about whether it would be possible to bring him in earlier. But there are always three parties involved.”

A short time later, media such as the TV channel Sky and the “Bild” newspaper reported that Zaragoza could imagine an immediate change. The only thing missing is an agreement between FC Bayern and FC Granada, where the Spaniard is under contract. Because Granada obviously wants a fee for giving up their star player in the winter. The club is second to last in the Spanish league.

An important transfer part has already been completed

On Thursday it emerged that Bayern wanted to pay three million euros, but Granada was demanding more. Although the parties don’t have much time left to reach an agreement, things could still happen very quickly in the end.

An important part of a transfer is the medical check – and Zaragoza completed that less than two months ago. The Bavarians have already collected the most important information and data about the Spaniard’s health. You could of course do another final check to see whether anything has changed since then, but this would also be shorter.

The time advantage can help Bayern in the talks, especially on the last two days of the transfer window, when many moves fail due to a lack of time.
