Why Jon Bon Jovi won’t sing at his son’s wedding

Jake Bongiovi and Millie Bobby Brown announced their engagement in April. While the two were in the middle of their wedding preparations, the question arose as to whether Jon Bon Jovi would also make an appearance at the celebration.

In fact, the “Livin’ on a Prayer” singer won’t be performing at her wedding and for a sweet reason. The “Stranger Things” actress said in an interview with “Today”: “I think the man needs a break, he hardly takes it easy on himself. He is constantly taking tennis or singing lessons. I think he needs a break. A three-hour break.”

Jon Bon Jovi will of course be there for the soon-to-be-married couple, just not from the stage.

The planning of the wedding seems to be progressing very harmoniously. “It wasn’t stressful for me at all,” she says. “Jake is very committed. He is very helpful throughout the entire process. I never felt alone, which I find very nice. I always ask myself: Is this a good idea? Is this a good idea? But ultimately it’s just a very intimate day for both of us and we’re both very excited,” Millie tells Bobby Brown.

Jon Bon Jovi thinks marriage is good at a young age

Her future father-in-law Jon Bon Jovi spoke to Andy Cohen about the wedding and answered the question of whether he was worried because they were both very young: “I don’t know if age plays a role. If you find the right partner and grow together, then this would be my advice: Growing together is smart.”
