“This is exactly my story,” says Koyuncu. “That Amsterdammer with a car of 500 or 600 euros in a suburb and works at Schiphol simply needs that car. Public transport does not yet go if it has to be at work. But he can no longer go into the center.”

Since January 1, there is not only an emission -free zone for entrepreneurs in the capital, but certain passenger cars are no longer welcome within the Ring. Owners also run the chance that they can no longer get a parking permit. In addition, there are rules for polluting mopeds and scooters.
