When will Linda de Mol answer the outstanding questions about her role in the Voice scandal? She promised in RTL Boulevard to come back to that later, but we are already six months further.
The big reproach to Linda de Mol is not what she did after the The Voice scandal, but what exactly she left before. For example, she was informed by his victims about what Ali B has been up to, but decided not to inform her brother John de Mol – then still producer of The Voice.
No subtle hint
Linda concealed it at John. No tip, no warning, not even a subtle hint that it might be useful to put his rap friend out of the format. Nothing.
Afterwards, Linda hides behind the desire for discretion of the victims. But even without mentioning names, she could of course have given John a signal that this man did not belong in a talent show with young women for a second longer. One serious look was sufficient. Instead, she remained silent and Ali was able to continue undisturbed.
Reference
The only thing Linda’s team did is refer the victims to Tim Hofman, but is that enough? How does Linda look back on this afterwards, especially now that the rapper has been sentenced to a two -year prison sentence for rape and attempted rape?
Linda was first asked about it in February, namely by RTL Boulevard reporter Joost Maiburg. He then asked: “Why didn’t you discuss that with your brother at the time?”
‘I will tell later’
Linda did not want to comment on that at the time. “I’m not going that far now. I’m going to explain that another time and I actually explained that in my editorial, but I didn’t do anything wrong.”
Well, that’s the question. As long as Linda cannot be interviewed about that, we can’t just believe her on her blue eyes. Anyway: now that Linda’s sweetheart Jeroen Rietbergen is definitely not being prosecuted for rape, it seems time that she will finally give that long -awaited interview.
Will there be a book?
Linda has now written an editorial about her love leasing with Jeroen, but where is the rest? Will there be a book? “She could do it,” says private boss Evert Santegoeds, who works for Linda’s brother John. “If you read her column this week, that editorial in which she summarizes that period with Jeroen …”
“A book by Linda would score well, I think, only I think she ends with:” I hope the book can close now. ” So I don’t think she’s up again and comes with a book.
Brain
Evert thinks that Linda wants to focus again on her TV career, he continues in the podcast Strictly private. “Master brains is of course what everyone is looking forward to and wonders what that will be.”
“Oh no, it is called brilliant brains. In any case, it alliterates beautiful. I think the Netherlands will be in front of it again, a new show with Linda de Mol. That is a spectacle.”
