Berlin’s most sinful countdown is underway. The Venus sex fair starts in two weeks in the exhibition halls under the radio tower. For four days (from October 26th to 29th) everything revolves around stars and starlets of the industry, erotic toys, but also love workshops for couples and education on the subject of sex work.
For the 26th Venus, the BZ today names 26 facts about the trade fair:
1. The cheapest day ticket costs 55 euros. At least 150 euros are required for the 4-day admission ticket. The Platinum season ticket is available for 1200 euros – this includes, among other things, the Venus opening show, free access to the VIP areas on the show stage and a Venus poster…
2. 250 exhibitors – 30 percent more than last year – from 40 countries have registered.
3. Around 600 women from the erotic industry will be there – cam girls, porn stars, dominatrixes.
4. More than 30,000 visitors are expected over the four days.
5. Entry is from 18 years of age. The vast majority of visitors are between 20 and 40 years old. The oldest couple to date visited Venus in 2017. SHE was 88 and HE was 92 years old.
6. Venus is open daily from 11 a.m. from October 26th to 29th. On Thursday until 8 p.m., Friday and Saturday until 9:30 p.m. and on Sunday until 7 p.m.
7. An average of 100 trade fair guests get tattoos and intimate piercings every day at Venus’ specialist stands.
8. Thousands of sex toys can be seen, tried out and bought at the trade fair. Dealers here also stock up on dildos directly from China starting at 1 euro.
9. On average, a trade fair visitor spends 116 euros on erotic shopping.
10. So-called sex coaches offer workshops and demonstrations specifically for couples. Tantra specialists and sex therapists also provide information about sexual health and alternative forms of love and relationships.
11. Sex workers have also registered for Venus to stand up for their rights.
12. For the first time ever there is a cooperation between the erotic fair and the Berliner CSD eV
13. This year the trade fair is presenting itself with a completely new poster motif. Instead of the typical Venus faces, this time eight brand ambassadors represent Venus – including actress and influencer Anne Wunsch, who is on a Venus for the first time. The brand ambassador is also party pop singer and porn star Mia Julia.
14. Erotic model and presenter Micaela Schäfer is celebrating her tenth Venus anniversary this year and is once again one of the brand ambassadors.
15. Only trade visitors will have access to exhibition hall 21b from October 26th to 28th, 2023 in order to make direct contacts and conclude deals. Trade visitors can register in advance or on site.
16. The so-called Venus Award will be presented on October 26th in the Wintergarten Varité. It will be moderated for the second time by ex-Viva star Mola Adebisi and porn actress Roxxy X.
17. A special LGBT area will once again be set up, in which several events on the topic are planned.
18. At a trade fair stand you can try out erotic hypnosis, which supposedly can lead to climax without touching…
19. This year too, a tour for the blind will be offered on Venus, which will take place for the seventh time with drag queen Ella Mortadella. Venus is also barrier-free and therefore suitable for wheelchair users.
20. “Brazzers”, one of the largest porn sites in the world, is coming to Venus for the first time and bringing with it numerous US porn stars.
21. Venus is also extremely present on social media, having almost 40,000 fans on Facebook and more than 84,00 followers on Instagram.
22. In a special area for female visitors, there are strip shows by men – including the “Juicy Boys” – several times a day.
23. The kinky area is all about SM and fetish. The well-known Berlin nightclub “Insomina” also has a stand here.
24. Sex dolls are also presented and offered at several stands. The latest models from China are said to look even more authentic and can even move. The most expensive dolls cost just under 10,000 euros.
25. Around 1,000 journalists and influencers report on the trade fair. For the first time there is a news format from Canada called “Naked News”. Three presenters report live and naked from Venus several times a day.
26. There is no dress code on Venus, the organizers emphasize. True to the motto: “Venus is open, colorful and free. Be whoever you want.” It is also permitted to walk naked through the exhibition halls…
