What the hell? The World Cup players jump into the trash can after the games

A trash can has been wheeled into the Czech dressing room, into which the players jump after games.

Kari Jalonen is the head coach of the Czech Republic. PDO

Kari Jalonen piloting the Czech Republic has a somewhat peculiar vessel to recover from the strains of performance.

The Czech iSport reports on its website that the team’s players jump into the trash after games and training.

The team’s locker rooms have small showers and a trash can of about 360 liters.

– It has cold water with ice, where the boys can recover after matches, Czech custodian Zdeněk Šmíd told the site.

Ice water speeds up recovery and prevents inflammation. The trash can is placed in the locker room showers.

You can see pictures of the trash can here from the link.

There is also a carpet with the team’s logo on the floor of the dressing room. As you know, you can’t step on it.

– It is our holy place, Šmíd said.

The trash can will be used by the players again this weekend when the Czech Republic faces Norway and Switzerland.

The Czech Republic is in third place in Group B, which will be played in Riga. Jalonen has guided his team to three victories. Host country Latvia has inflicted the only loss on the Czech Republic so far.

Jalonen answered the media’s questions with a flipchart on Tuesday.

Jalonen had drawn statistics from the match on the board. Konkari’s coach had also listed the goal positions from the actual game time and extra time.

According to Jalonen’s calculations, the Czech Republic created 18 goal chances in the match, Latvia 17.

– They shot a lot from corners that are not usually scored from, Jalonen said Bleskin along and continued:

– We weren’t that good at the offensive end, but we still scored three goals. The Latvia game could have gone either way. It was a good game with a lot of fighting and fast hockey.

This is how Finland finally wins its match.
