In Dalen, the Circus Saurus is visiting all weekend. In a one and a half hour show you will experience an exciting journey through the jungle. There is a real life T-Rex in the show and it is complemented by classic circus acts. Jugglers, acrobats, clowns, knife throwing, they all pass in review. On Saturdays, the shows are at 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM. On Sundays, the circus show can be admired at 11 a.m.
The Drents Museum has been hosting the international archeology exhibition for some time now Under the spell of Ararat – Treasures of Ancient Armenia to admire. One of the highlights is a relic with a wood fragment of Noah’s Ark. This Sunday the Assense church community De Ark pays attention to the story of Noah with a museum service. Stef Heerema gives a lecture on the geological aspects of the flood. The museum services can be attended at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. in the Opkamer, a room in the Drents Museum.
On Sunday afternoon from 14.00, the music company Het Blauwe Uur will visit theater kuil De Falieberg in Zuidwolde. The band is known for its cheerful and melancholic music from all regions of Europe. The repertoire includes chansons, gypsy and typical Balkan music.
