Many Rammstein fans not only want to be close to the band at concerts, but also want to experience the impressive pyro effects up close. The so-called fire zone was created for this purpose. But what does it mean and how do you get in there? All the answers are here.
What is the fire zone?
At Rammstein concerts, the fire zone is the first rows directly in front of the stage, which are separated from the rest of the standing area by a breakwater. This is the best place to experience the show, as flames flare up in front of the spectators’ eyes – the heat from the pyros is particularly strong here. For many fans it is a special experience to see the band from there.
Rammstein: How do you get into the fire zone?
Whether there is a separate entrance to the fire zone depends on the conditions on site. Ticket buyers may receive detailed instructions in advance as to where to enter. However, the following often applies: owners of a corresponding ticket go to the general entrance and receive a separate wristband for the front, cordoned off area.
How much does a fire zone ticket cost?
Tickets at Rammstein are not exactly cheap – the past stadium shows have already shown this and the live shows for 2024 are no different. The fire zone directly in front of the stage is particularly popular and therefore the most expensive. Fans have to pay almost 150 euros for this.
Can you just stand there or are there seats too?
There are usually no seats in the fire zone. The audience stands directly in front of the stage. However, it is possible to leave the area at any time if you feel unwell or want to go to the toilet. Because you receive a wristband for the special area when you enter, security recognizes that you have bought a ticket for the area in front of the stage and are therefore authorized to enter.
Are there any special rules?
There are no special rules that Rammstein fans have to follow when attending a concert in the fire zone. According to the security concept of the respective location, the organizer is only allowed to allow a predetermined number of people into the area in front of the stage. Accordingly, only a limited number of tickets for the fire zone will be sold. Visitors always have enough space and can move to the back if it gets too tight and hot at the front if necessary. According to current knowledge, there is no specific age restriction for the area – the general minimum age communicated by the organizer applies.
