It is colder, wetter and the leaves are changing color: autumn has really started. Weekend magazine wonders: what does Wendy van Dijk’s hairdresser think about this?
Mari van de Ven, Wendy van Dijk’s personal powder box, was called by the Weekend to gauge his opinion about the autumn season. Is he annoyed that all his stars will soon be walking through the rain with faded hairstyles? Does the shorter days make him a little depressed? And what does he think of all those leaves on the sidewalk?

All important questions and the Weekend now has answers to some of them. In any case, Mari turns out not to be an autumn hater at all. “I never suffer from dips. I always have a positive attitude. I count my blessings.”
It is precisely the summer that sometimes drives Mari crazy. “When it’s hot, I can sometimes say: ‘Phew guys, it’s so hot!’ Then it’s no longer fun every now and then, but soon it will be ten degrees below zero again, so don’t complain. I’ll also be going to the gym no matter what the weather. I just put on my rain suit, it doesn’t matter to me.”
Crazy about thunderstorms
Did the Weekend really write an entire article about Mari’s opinion on the autumn weather?! No of course not. Marijke Helwegen can also say something: “Autumn is my favorite time of year. I really enjoy a bit of cool weather, drizzle and worse. I love thunder, it makes me very calm and I don’t shake.”
After quite a few calls, a semi-celebrity was also found who hates autumn: former Luv’ star José Hoebee. But that’s a nasty type anyway. “I hate rain. I love summer and a good, cold winter. I can’t do much with autumn!”
