Heavy investments are also being made in Moorsele and Gullegem. The construction of a new sports hall (6.7 million euros) is planned for Moorsele, together with three million euros in sewerage works. In Gullegem, work on a renovated center is already in full swing.
“We are opening up the Heulebeek, creating a green center and building a new meeting center De Cerf,” says first alderman and future mayor Kevin Defieuw (CD&V). “In Moorsele we also opt for greening, in collaboration with the Sint-Jozef residential care center and the BaMo school.”
