Alphaville’s new album “Eternally Yours” will be released on September 23rd. With a new edition of “Forever Young” as an orchestral version, the third harbinger of the upcoming record was released on August 26th – after the newly produced singles “Big in Japan” and “Sounds Like a Melody”.

The original releases of the songs just mentioned are from the 1984 album “Forever Young”. “You can’t say this is Alphaville’s biggest hit. That would be an understatement,” says Marian Gold, who co-wrote the song “Forever Young” with Bernhard Lloyd and Frank Mertens in 1982. He produced the orchestral version in collaboration with Max Knoth. The label describes the work as “a unique combination of grandiosity, boundless naivety and megalomania”. Alphaville will also be playing several shows in German concert halls and philharmonic halls from April 2023 – you can find the dates below.
