TSG wants to extend contract

At the update of the 2nd Bundesliga, Fisnik Asllani doubled its market value from 4 million to 8 million euros last Thursday. The attacker at SV Elversberg drew attention to himself by loan from TSG Hoffenheim and has long since aroused the interest of other Bundesliga clubs. The 22-year-old was also loosely associated with Werder Bremen due to the commitment of coach Horst Steffen. According to the “kicker”, the endeavor to make a transfer is actually concrete.

Asllani really turned up under Steffen last year and came to 19 goals and ten templates in 37 missions. The 56-year-old is now said to be a trump card in the negotiations and lure the 1.91-meter center forward to the Weser. Its contract in Hoffenheim, where he has been playing since 2020 and has been on the pitch ten times in the Bundesliga so far, ends in 2026 and there are efforts to extend the working paper prematurely.
For the Bremen, which is generally not embedded on roses, the fact of the ending contract offers the realistic chance of an obligation by the striker. In general, only three times in the club’s history have a sum above the new market value of Asllani. And despite the impending departure at the zero tariff, the TSG is calling for a “not inconsiderable transfer fee” next year.
Werder has often looked at center forward from the 2nd Bundesliga in the recent past. This summer, the North Germans were associated with Braunschweig Rayan Philippe, which is probably moving to Hamburger SV. Last summer, Keke Topp was signed by Schalke 04, Dawid Kownacki from Fortuna Düsseldorf the year before and in 2021 Marvin Ducksch came from Hannover 96. The future of the latter should also depend on the outcome of the poker around Asllani-the 31-year-old would also go to his last contract year in Bremen and is considered a sales candidate.
