In the film, the 65-year-old visits his parents’ house in Hanau and the club in which he started playing football as a child. Rudi Völler’s career began at the age of 17 at the then second division club Kickers Offenbach. In 1980 he played for TSV 1860 Munich For the first time in the 1st Bundesliga, but after only one season, the “lions” descended from the upper house.
