Ole Werner is the top favorite for the coaching position at RB Leipzig, but is still under contract with Werder Bremen until summer 2026. The green-whites apparently want to pay themselves expensive to pay the target of the former coach and its co-trainers. The Saxons do not seem to meet the demand at first.
According to Werder, 6 million euros would like to agree to Werner, who has already reached an agreement with Leipzig, as well as his assistant Patrick Kohlmann and Tom Cichon. According to the “Deichstube”, RB currently only wants to pay 3 million euros. This sum would also be a plus business for the Bremeners, especially since the 37-year-old would also be obtained from the salary list.
