Berlin’s Nader Jindaoui is better known for his social media activities than for his success as a professional footballer. Now he and his family are leaving Germany because he has a new club.
The influencer Nader Jindaoui and his family are leaving Berlin. As he announced in a video with his wife Luisa, the 28-year-old, who also works as a footballer, is moving to the Los Angeles Galaxy in the US professional league MLS. This means he will be a teammate of ex-BVB star Marco Reus.
Jindaoui, who is followed by more than 2 million people on Instagram and YouTube, played for the Hertha BSC second team until the summer of 2024 and also made two appearances for the first team last season. Since then he has been without a club. Jindaoui had already trained with LA Galaxy from October to December 2024. Recently he was rumored to be linked to several clubs. There was also talk of a return to Hertha, but there were doubts as to whether the influencer would really help in terms of sport.
In Germany, the Jindaouis are superstars with many fans because of their social media activities. However, there is always criticism of the family, for example because they show their small children in their videos.
If the Jindaouis show up somewhere in Berlin, it can lead to chaos, the number of fans is so great. At the end of December, for example, they announced that they would be handing out free bowls in a waffle shop in Gesundbrunnen and also taking photos with fans.
