A total of 13 provinces, in addition to Ceuta and Melilla, will have a yellow warning due to bad weather conditions

This Friday thirteen Spanish provinces and the autonomous cities of Ceuta and Melilla will be on yellow notice due to rain, coastal phenomena, storms or wind, as reported by the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET).

Specifically, in Andalusia the waves will be at riskAlmería and Granada and the rains to Cádiz and, for the same reason, Asturias will be on yellow notice.

For their part, the Balearic Islands they will be in yellow warning for rains, storms and coastal phenomena. In addition, Cantabria will be at risk due to rain and coastal phenomena.

In Catalonia, Barcelona will be at risk from rain, Girona from waves and Tarragona from wind and waves. The rains will also have a yellow warning for Navarra this Friday.

Finally, in the Basque CountryGuipúzcoa and Vizcaya will be at risk due to rain and waves; in the Valencian Community, Castellón will be at risk due to wind; and the autonomous city of Melilla will be on yellow warning due to waves and wind and Ceuta due to waves.

This Friday, in the extreme north of the peninsula, the sky will be cloudy or covered with precipitation. In the Cantabrian area they will be in the form of frequent showers, occasionally with storms, which may leave total accumulations of some importance; and on the Catalan coast and the Balearic Islands, cloudy intervals are expected, increasing to cloudy or overcast, with showers and storms that may be locally strong.

In the rest of the Peninsula, cloudy skies will predominate and there will be generally minor rainfall.without ruling out an occasional storm, tending to open clear from west to east starting in the afternoon.

These precipitations will be more abundant in the mountains of northeastern Andalusia and around the Strait, but are unlikely or not expected in the Ebro valley, the northwest of the northern plateau and a large part of the Valencian Community. In the Canary Islands, the sky will be cloudy with precipitation in the north of the islands with the highest relief, and cloudy intervals in the rest, without ruling out some weak precipitation.

The snow level will be located in the Cantabrian mountain range at 1,300/1,500 meters, going down to 1,100/1,200 meters; in the Central and Iberian systems, 1,700/1,900 meters, dropping to 1,200/1,300 meters; in the Pyrenees, 1,600/2,000 meters, dropping to 1,300/1,500 meters; in the mountains of eastern Andalusia, going down from more than 2,000 meters to about 1,500 meters.

The temperatures will have a general decrease, becoming notable that of the maximum in the Ebro, Central system and Pyrenees, and that of the minimum in the east of Andalusia, southeast of the South plateau, Murcia and south of the Valencian Community. Frosts are expected in the mountainous systems of the center and north of the peninsula.
