“We advise Francken not to make such a statement again”: Russian hacker collective claims cyber attack on Proximus and Scarlet

This morning, a DDoS cyber attack was carried out on, among others, the websites of telecom operators Proximus and Scarlet. The pro-Russian hacker collective NoName057 claimed responsibility for the attacks via Telegram. Reference was made to a recent statement by Minister of Defense Theo Francken (N-VA). The Proximus site was only offline for a short time, the Scarlet site was available again to all users around 11:10 am.
