Water polo players ZV De Zaan national champion for the first time

The water polo players of ZV De Zaan have become champions of the Netherlands for the first time in club history. On Friday, GZC Donk won 16-10 and today they won 13-10 at home to decide the best-of-three series.

ZV De Zaan has existed since 2012 and was created from a merger between ZWV De Zaan and ZZC Alliance. Earlier, Mick van den Bree’s team won the super cup and the cup.

Men play third game

The men of ZV De Zaan also play for the national championship. They won 19-11 against GZC Donk today to bring the best-of-three series to 1-1. The all-deciding third game will be played tomorrow in Gouda.
