Rossella Fiamingo talks about herself in the new episode of “Another podcast” (watch the full episode on our YouTube channel).
As a child the mask was a cloak, a refuge and a promise. At 17 she counted the time that separated her from the Five Circles dream, at 21 she began to really live it. Today her journey tells of a career built with precision, leaving no room for chance: an Olympic gold, silver and bronze, as well as two world titles, which make her one of the brightest figures in Italian fencing. On the stage she follows silent music, invisible to others, an internal rhythm that guides her in every step, every assault, every rebirth. To describe his falls he uses the image of a crashing plane: it is among that wreckage that he searches for his black box, reconstructing mistakes and planning projects. Like a viper that sheds its skin, regenerates and starts again. Sweet and extremely sensitive, he perceives the fragility of others and the weight of judgments, responding to criticism one jab at a time. Between mind and body, melodies and lunges, Rossella has found her balance and also love, the one with which to share one last sporting horizon in Los Angeles 2028. And then a new life, shedding her skin once again.
