Mike Waltz, the National Safety Advisor of the White House, had forgotten to put his Venmo-Hovi transfer application private, says Technology Publication Wired. As a result, anyone has been able to see who Waltz has added to the platform as a friend.
White House Chancellor Susie Wiles had done the same mocha. It is not known how long the Venmo accounts of Waltz and Wiles had been public.
Venmo is a mobile payment platform owned by PayPal, which can be compared to the mobilepay application used for us, for example. However, the friend list does not directly reveal who has moved money with the user.
Waltz is the same man suspected of accidentally invited the editor -in -chief of The Atlantic magazine Jeffrey Goldberg Signal group discussion dealt with an active US military operation in Yemen. Waltz has announced that it will take responsibility for the messenger.

The White House refused to comment on Wired. However, Waltz and Wiles changed their Venmo account to private after Wired contact.
According to Wired, Moka speaks of a bigger problem in the US administration.
“This suggests that the Signal group discussion was not a single mistake, but a part of a broader formula that national security experts describe as reckless activities by the most influential people in the US government,” Wired writes.
