Walloon agricultural organization estimates loss due to drought at 200 million euros

The drought of the past weeks and months has already cost Walloon farmers 200 million euros. That is what the Fédération wallonne de l’agriculture (FWA) calculated. In some places, farmers have also had to cut stocks for the winter. The FWA therefore asks, among other things, that the Walloon government set up climate insurance that should meet the needs better than the current disaster fund.
