As soon as there is again. After just nine competitive games, coach Dominik Glawogger ends in Mannheim. Anyone who follows the Austrian is still open.

Third division SV Waldhof Mannheim separated from coach Dominik Glawogger just two games after the start of the new season. The club announced the decision one day after the 0-1 defeat at FC Hansa Rostock. At the start of the season, the Mannheimers played 2-2 against SC Verl. It is still unclear who should follow Glawogger.

“First of all, I would like to thank Dominik for his willingness and commitment. In April, he took responsibility in a difficult phase and helped to secure the relegation,” said Mannheim’s sports director Gerhard Zuber.

“Nevertheless, some developments in the past few weeks have prompted us to change the coaching position. Despite the continuity of staff, we have not managed to take the next step in our sporting development at the start of the season.”

Glawogger took over the post in April from Bernhard Trares. The 35 -year -old Austrian was only on nine competitive games on the sidelines, three of which were won. Last season, the Waldhof, Bundesliga club from 1983 to 1990, had only secured relegation late.
