The VVD will be claiming the asylum file for the time being, after PVV leader Geert Wilders had withdrawn his ministers from the cabinet. According to the replacement scheme, Justice Minister David van Weel (VVD) will be responsible for the file. That has already been agreed by the Council of Ministers and the VVD wants to leave it at that now.
