VV Alkmaar pulls the longest end against Heerenveen and wins again

For the first time since Pakjesavond, December 5, VV Alkmaar was able to add three points again. The football players defeated sc Heerenveen 3-2. Due to the victory, the Alkmaarders surpass the Frisians and now occupy seventh place.

Sanne Koopman took the lead after 24 minutes. The Frisians were unable to equalize in the remainder of the first half. After the break, Dana Foederer finally made it 1-1. The visitors could not enjoy this for long, because Annemiek Kruijthof and Femke Prins created a large margin within a few minutes: 3-1.

In stoppage time, Heerenveen made it 3-2 via Jet van Beijeren. This goal came too late to jeopardize the victory of the Alkmaarders. VV Alkmaar will be free next week. The next match is March 25. The team of Mark de Vries then plays against PEC Zwolle.
