“Unfortunate” Vingegaard still admits quite to protest

This year’s Vuelta is accompanied by numerous protests by Propalestinian demonstrators who relate to Israel’s approach in the Gaza Strip. The demonstrators also criticize the Team Israel Prime Minister Tech, which has now been not named “Israel” on their jerseys.

The stage was shortened on Tuesday due to protests. “We are here to run, we want to end it at the finish line. It is very unhappy that we cannot do it. But people have the right to protest”said Vingegaard at “Eurosport”.

On Thursday, the professionals are the only individual time trial of this year’s Spain tour. The professionals have to cope with 27.2 kilometers around the city of Valladolid. The tour ends on Sunday in Madrid.
