“Vooruit and CD&V have gone flat on the belly about recognition Palestine”: opposition parties not talking about Gaza agreement

The opposition parties are not impressed by the agreement that the Flemish and federal government reached the conflict in Gaza last night. “This only averted a government crisis,” says green chairman Bart Dhondt. “If you look at which actions are really being taken, then you can’t help but find that this is bitter. Vooruit and CD&V have gone flat on the recognition of Palestine. The euphoria is out of place.” According to the PvdA, the government “only saves its own skin, not the Palestinians”.
