Three points for salvation. Ma Acqua S. Bernardo Cuneo, driven by its fans, returns to success with a convincing 3-0 after a long period of abstinence and wins very important points against a direct competitor for remaining in the Super League, Yuasa Battery Grottazzolina. Driven by central defender Lorenzo Codarin – who won that promotion on the pitch – by an Ivan Zaytesev in double figures and by an excellent Michele Baranowicz, capable of managing his team in the best possible way, even with the additions from the bench, such as that of Lorenzo Sala, in aid of a Nathan Feral who was not in the game too much. It was Sala himself who scored the last point of the match which made it 3-0. On the other side of the net, Grottazzolina, despite the best scorer of the match (Golzadeh with 16 points) but without Petkov, is unable to play its game, too many fouls especially in the third set, and archives another bad evening, after having obtained the home success in the tie-break against Cisterna only a few days ago which had given hope to coach Ortenzi’s team. The points, however, remain four for Yuasa Battery and mean the bottom of the ranking.
