German car manufacturer Volkswagen is in danger of having to temporarily halt production of the VW Golf in Wolfsburg next week. Sources report this to the German Bild. Due to a dispute between Dutch chip supplier Nexperia and its Chinese parent company, the automotive industry is facing a chip shortage.
