VLP Roosendaal has become the undisputed winner in the municipal elections in Roosendaal. The party was already big, but with an increase of 9.9 percent, VLP Roosendaal has won 26.9 percent of the vote.
The number two is Roosendaalse List. It lost 4.6 percent but still received 17.7 percent of the vote. The VVD and GroenLinks are fairly similar. 10.6 percent of the vote (loss of 2.7 percent) against 9.8 percent (gain of 1 percent). The CDA is also in line: 9.6 percent (loss of 2.3 percent)
The local parties Civic Interests Roosendsaal, Vitaal Liberaal and Forum for Democracy are doing well, they all get a few percentage points and all three seem to be on the council.
Roosendaal had a low turnout percentage. Only 39.7 percent of the voting population came to cast a vote. Four years ago it was still 45.7 percent.
