Just a use for Magpies

Odysseas Vlachodimos is supposed to fix defensive weakness at FC Sevilla. The 31 -year -old goalkeeper is loaned for a season by Newcastle United, where he only got a single assignment in the cup. The Laliga Club had given 55 goals in 38 games last season and narrowly averted relegation.
Vlachodimos, born in Stuttgart, was also in demand in the Bundesliga during his time at Benfica, but decided to move to England in 2023. Neither in Nottingham Forest (seven missions) nor at Newcastle, however, he was able to work out the status as number one. This summer, the Magpies committed Aaron Ramsdale (27) by loan from FC Southampton.
