When does Germany Tour 2025 take place?

This year’s Germany tour begins on August 20 with a short prologue in Essen and ends on August 24th in Magdeburg. It is driven in the three federal states of North Rhine-Westphalia, Hesse and Saxony-Anhalt. The route passes past the industrial estates of the Ruhr area through the Teutoburg Forest into the Hochsauerland. Then the peloton winds on very wavy terrain through northern Hesse until at the end the Magdeburg Börde is reached. The dominators of the Tour de FranceWinner Tadej Pogacar and Jonas Vingegaardare not at the start in Essen. But Belgium’s cycling star Wout van Aert make his debut on the Germany tour.
