The popular Centrumshuttle, which drives a fixed route through the city center of Bruges from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., remains free of charge for residents of Bruges. On the other hand, visitors will pay 3 euros per ride from this summer.
“The center shuttle is a great success,” says Mayor Dirk De Fauw. “In 2024, more than 200,000 trips were made, about half of which were tourists. During the high season the shuttle is often packed. By asking a small fee from visitors, we hope to spread the use better.”
