The current NFL champion will probably come to Donald Trump at the end of April. According to a government spokeswoman, the Philadelphia Eagles accepted the invitation to the White House.
The Super Bowl winner from the US football league does not do without the traditional visit to the White House. In the weeks after the Super Bowl, there had been rumors about a possible cancellation. It would not have been the first twist between a professional team and Donald Trump.
“There was a lot of fake news about an invitation that was sent or not sent”said government spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt. “We sent an invitation and they enthusiastically accepted them.”
2018 – Discharge and notice
After the 2018 championship, there had been no reception of the Eagles in the White House. At that time Trump had unloaded the team. At first, some players had apparently not behaved during the national anthem as Trump had wished: “With his hand on the heart, in honor of the great men and women of our military and the citizens of this country.” Trump also insulted the players of the Eagles with unflapid expressions.
The majority of the actors then refused to take part in a reception in the White House, the club wanted to arrive with a smaller delegation. However, Trump did not agree with that, the discharge followed.

A year earlier, Trump had already unloaded NBA star Stephen Curry from the Golden State Warriors because the basketball player had criticized the US President.
